Wine production in Arribas (Portugal) and Arribes (Spain) is said to be very old and there has always been interaction between both areas even before both countries were formed.

The following group of wine producers has decided to create a brand – ARRIBAES – that will express our common goals and cultivate appreciation for our wines as they are made with respect to the area where they are produced.
